The Phoenix Hebrew Academy’s uniform was designed to foster a positive, distraction-free learning environment in a cost-effective way for parents. All students are expected to dress in a manner appropriate to the spirit of a Jewish day school during school hours, school events, field trips and any after school activities, unless otherwise instructed by a teacher or the principal.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHA EMBLEM/PATCH WILL NOT BE REQUIRED ON UNIFORM SHIRTS.

Uniform for Kindergarten- Grade 5
BOYS
- Solid colored light blue or maroon polo shirt
- Solid colored navy blue or black pants or shorts
- Tzitzit and Kippah are to be worn at all times
- No open footwear or “crocs” are allowed, as they present a safety hazard
GIRLS
- Solid colored light blue or maroon polo shirt
- Solid colored navy blue or black skirt or jumper. Attention should be paid to the length, as it must cover the knees. Leggings may be worn under skirts
- No makeup. Open footwear or “crocs” are not allowed as they present a safety hazard
Uniform for Grades 6–8
BOYS
- Solid colored light blue or maroon polo shirt
- Solid colored navy blue or black uniform pants
- Tzitzit and Kippah are to be worn at all times
- No open footwear or “crocs” are allowed, as they present a safety hazard
GIRLS
- Solid colored light blue or maroon polo shirt
- Solid colored navy blue or black uniform style skirt. pleated or A-line. No pencil skirts. Attention should be paid to the length, as it must cover the knees. Leggings may be worn under skirts
- No makeup. Open footwear or “crocs” are not allowed as they present a safety hazard
